James Ragan believes words are never what they want to be, never the soft solicitations of believing they ring like chimes beating to a lark’s note. Never the gale’s rush of wind returning chandeliers, crystal rising to a pitch. Even now, a word is re-imagining itself, unhearing the rhythm that gave it life.
